About Zookies Strain

History & Genetics

Zookies is a peppery, cramp-relieving strain from the Cookie family with a strange name.  This 50/50 balanced hybrid strain was produced by Alien Labs using Gorilla Glue #4 and Animal Cookies. Only users with a lot of experience should try Zookies because the THC sits in the mid-20s. The high lasts for a very long time in your head, diverting and calming you before spreading to the rest of your body. The most compelling aroma is at the top of the list of factors that draw customers to Zookies.

The strain adds the flavor of black pepper, which will sit right on the tip of your tongue and treat inflammation, thanks to a high dosage of caryophyllene in its terpene profile. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) sufferers can benefit greatly from caryophyllene. The other terpene is Limonene, an antimicrobial terpene with a citrus flavor.

Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

Nuggets of the plant are thick, round, dark green, and purple. The trichomes are  dense, opaque white, and the amber hairs are thin. The strain’s large colas and collection of sticky trichomes make it challenging to grow. It is crucial to regularly check humidity levels for your Zookies crop because the strain is extremely vulnerable to mold growths in humid growing environments.

Zookies taste like nuts, cookie dough, with just a trace of fuel once it is grown . Along with the aforementioned fiery black pepper, there are flowery flavors, traces of coffee and chocolate, and others. The scent is very similar, beginning with a warming dessert-like aroma, including nuts, milk, and chocolate, then evolving into a peppery gasoline smell. One reason to give the strain a chance is its depth and complexity.

Effects

With a high THC content of 25%, it offers the potent medical effects you may anticipate. Zookies is a popular strain among consumers who suffer from severe cramping during their periods, struggle with a chronic pain condition caused by muscle spasms, or are depressed. Your appetite may be revived by the mouth watering flavors.

Growing

Zookies can be grown more successfully by growers who reside in Mediterranean climes because it will be more expensive to maintain the low humidity and temperature in colder climates.

Growing Tip: Similar to a traditional Sativa, this strain grows bushy and strong. The plant’s tops will need to be kept under control with trellis netting, which will enable you to do so for the benefit of the other plants in your garden as well as the plant’s own growth pattern.
