About LA Confidential Strain

History & Genetics

L.A. Confidential is a pure indica strain. This strain has received numerous honors, including 2006 High Times Strain of the Year. It was developed by DNA Genetics through a cross between the well-known Afghani strain and OG LA Affie.

Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

This strain produces frosty, pale-green nugs that, upon first smell, have a strong scent. It has an earthy, heady, and slightly spicy flavor. As soon as you crack up these magnificent green nuggets, the skunky, woodsy aroma grows stronger.

This pine-scented strain’s high starts by numbing the body, bringing on a condition known as “couch-lock.” Users who have couch-lock frequently experience waves of calming and relaxing euphoria and, on rare occasions, cerebral effects.

Although this strain is entirely indica, some users report that its cerebral effects include psychedelic undertones. Additionally, it could make you think and cheer you up. Cotton mouth, dry eyes, paranoia, lightheadedness, or headaches may be side effects, particularly at higher doses.

This strain is suggested for evening and midnight usage and may help with insomnia, though some people report feeling tired rather than falling asleep. L.A. Confidential is effective at reducing chronic aches and pains because of its potent indica effects. The strain is frequently chosen by users as a stress and anxiety reliever, and some patients also use it to stimulate appetite or ease nausea.

Almost anyone can grow this indica-dominant strain anywhere, whether it be indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse. This strain, which is resistant to mildew, can be induced to flower at a height of three to four feet if the top is cut beforehand. Plants can produce between 300 and 500 grams per square meter once flowering is complete, which takes seven to eight weeks.
